14-Jun-2010 Yep, you read right the world known and highly regarded brand 'Sensation' will NOT return to Melbourne, Australia this year. Rumours began when the Sunday Herald Sun reported the event may be cancelled. This will leave a big gap in NYE parties for those who went to the past 2 Sensation White parties.
Etihad spokesman Bill Lane confirmed that the event will not take place.
"We think it's been a worthwhile and very entertaining event for Melbourne," Mr Lane said.
"There were significant costs in bringing the show from Europe and this was what we had to weigh up.
"At this stage there is nothing in its place, but we are always liaising with promoters and looking across the globe for a good fit for the stadium and for Melbourne."
